Secluded, intimate and casually elegant, the Cobble House strikes a balance between formal and informal, seamlessly marrying Vermont Victorian mansion with modern European style. With its flexible indoor and outdoor spaces, it is the perfect setting to host an exceptional bespoke wedding for up to 60 guests during any of Vermont’s magnificent four seasons.

The Cobble House is a whole house venue and unlike many other wedding venues, the bedrooms are included. The house sleeps 10 with a Junior Suite for the happy couple plus four unique bedrooms with en suite baths, so you can host family and friends.

We have partnered with the finest caterers and private chefs in the White River Valley to create delicious custom menus highlighting the best of Vermont’s farm-to-table talents to celebrate your joyous occasion.  We’d love to share these resources with you to help customize your dream wedding.  We can also host your rehearsal dinner or post wedding brunch.

Intimate affairs are a sweet spot for The Cobble House. Imagine just the two of you exchanging vows in a grove of trees on a platform overlooking the White River; or perhaps you and 8 or 10 of your closest family and friends are gathered on the Victorian Veranda for the ceremony; or maybe you’re in the Sitting Room with the backdrop of the Green Mountains and snowflakes gently falling against the floor to ceiling windows. All aspects of your special day promise romantic memories to last a lifetime.

To host weddings up to 60, the Music Room, a large airy function space or our covered Veranda are ideal. Of course, all other gathering spaces are also at your disposal. The magic of The Cobble House is how fluidly guests can flow from one space to another, from outside to inside. For weddings of this size, we recommend working with a wedding planner and local vendors.

There are many wonderful wedding venue choices in Vermont and we’re not the right size for all weddings.  If you’re throwing a big wedding elsewhere, we are the perfect place for you to establish your Wedding Headquarters.

Centrally located with rooms for you and 8 of your closest family and friends (our home sleeps 10), there’s plenty of space for last minute wedding preparations, and a beautiful tranquil setting to relax before the big day.
